Role Overview:
Content Infrastructure Owners are responsible for managing the evolution of tools by designing exit strategies from existing utilities into a core set of capabilities for all teams across the Content Operations organisation. Additionally, any successful applicant will be expected to manage these internal product capabilities to ensure new functionality is fit for purpose; that functionality is readily available to all internal customers to apply in support of LSEG Content offering which is produced to supply external and internal customers.
A successful applicant will need to demonstrate a proven history of technology led transformation, an openness to new ideas as solutions to problems via improved processes or better technology.
- Ownership of strategy, design, business requirements, feature trade-offs and release scheduling for a set of propositions, products or services.
- Responsible for gathering and prioritizing stakeholder feedback and understanding customer needs in order to drive innovation and increase operational adoption.
- Responsible for developing comprehensive product definitions, concept proposals and business cases which result in marketable products and services.
- Involved in budgeting activities, development of 3rd party partnerships, etc.
- Responsible for developing knowledge of functionality into the wider Content organisation.
- Responsible for reviewing current capabilities to ensure that quality is being maintained.
- Ability to understand technology to aid product development and adoption.
- Has led significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Experienced professional providing specialist consulting advice to senior and middle management to solve complex business issues.
- Can provide input to management on strategy and direction of the Content function.
- Works independently with guidance in complex situations.
- In-depth understanding of a Content function.
Core Responsibilities:
- Review technology and identify most efficient mechanisms to support activity in scope.
- Assess interactions between Content teams and hand-offs between Content Masters for mastered data to identify process disconnects to generate additional automation opportunities.
- Work with tools/UI person to ensure deployed UI minimizes any kind of process gaps.
- Deploy capabilities into Content Production and continuously evolve capabilities.
- Definition and ownership of parameters to report the effectiveness of tools and the function they perform.
- Definition and reporting on KPIs to assess status of tools in scope for stability and resilience.

Key Relationships:
- Business Unit / Segment Leaders / Product Groups.
- Technical Architecture and Development Teams.
- Content Production and Data Strategy Management groups.
- Group Risk and Governance Management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or
- 10+ years of financial markets and operations expertise, with demonstrated success in data operations and management.
- Strong leadership abilities and behaviours including accountability, collaboration and partnership, strategic thinking, talent development, effective communication skills.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience with proven track record of attracting, developing and retaining talent.
- Experience with delivering transformational changes in a customer and product led setting.
- Ability to strategize the delivery and implementation of business cases.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior executives.
- Understanding of coding, generate code (Python, SQL), use of AI Agents.
- Expert user of MSFT products and LSEG products/tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
- Outstanding presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to interact knowledgeably and confidently across all aspects of the business and stakeholders.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and offer solutions.
- Accomplished at working across borders in a culturally diverse organization.
