Job Title: Content Lead
Location: Any Hub (Cumbernauld, Milton Keynes, Middlebrooke, London)
Contract and working pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week, permanent, Full time 37.5 hours)

What we’re looking for…
The Content Lead is a specialist role responsible for shaping, evolving, and executing AG Barr's corporate brand identity through high-impact digital and visual storytelling. Acting as the organisation's "Content Editor," this role owns the end-to-end content plans across external digital platforms, including the corporate website, social channels, and corporate branding initiatives.
The role involves translating complex business milestones, investor relations, ESG goals, and employer branding initiatives into compelling narrative assets (video, photography, graphics, and copy). By collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external creative and digital agencies, the Content Lead ensures a world-class user experience, continuously leverages data to optimise reach, and protects and enhances AG Barr’s corporate reputation.
Key Accountabilities
Website Ownership & UX Development
- Platform Management: Drive the continuous improvement, optimisation, and ongoing management of the AG Barr corporate website.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with a third-party digital agency and cross-functional internal teams (Brands, Talent Attraction, Finance, ESG) to develop an outstanding corporate web presence.
- Corporate Identity Alignment: Ensure the digital environment reflects global best practices and aligns perfectly with corporate branding goals.

- Multi-Media Creation: Direct, hands-on expert production of corporate visual and written assets (video editing, brand photography and videography, blogs, articles, social content and multi-channel creative direction).
- Internal Channel Maximisation: Accountable for maximising the content created for external channels across internal channels as well, adapting it where necessary to drive deep employee engagement with both the AG Barr corporate brand and its respective consumer brands.
- Executive Branding & LinkedIn Community Management: Own AG Barr’s LinkedIn account and activity to elevate the organisation's executive visibility and overall corporate reputation. Actively manage the corporate LinkedIn community to accelerate new follower growth, deepen brand loyalty, and cultivate authentic professional connections with industry peers, talent, and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Storytelling & Community Support: Produce engaging campaigns highlighting cultural milestones (e.g., Pride, International Women's Day) and "Meet the Team" profiles.
- Fizz Community Management: Play a vital supportive role in the community management of the internal Fizz platform, collaborating with the Communications Lead to keep internal channels vibrant.
Digital Performance & Content Analytics
- Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor, review, and appraise the analytics and performance metrics of content published across the corporate website and all external social channels.
- Data-Driven Optimisation: Use these insights to diagnose performance trends, make strategic improvements to visual and written assets, enhance user engagement, and actively drive traffic to AG Barr digital platforms.
Agency & Creative Management
- Vendor Leadership: Manage third-party creatives, specialised agencies, and external vendors to deliver content on time and within scope.
- Production Oversight: Organise and oversee professional photoshoots and video shoots, liaising with the QSE team to guarantee compliance with health and safety measures.
Financial & Operational Administration
- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Act as the 'Pillar Lead' for the "We are AG Barr" corporate identity pillar, delivering monthly updates and reporting to the People & Communications Leadership Team on project progress, development, and strategic milestones.
- Commercial Support: Efficiently raise Purchase Orders (POs) and manage the end-to-end payment and administrative tracking processes for content projects.
- Flexible Execution: Support out-of-hours or weekend work on specific occasions as required by business demands or high-profile campaigns or events.

Knowledge and Experience
Digital Content & Production Expertise
- A minimum of three years’ experience within a fast-paced corporate communications, brand or content function, with a proven ability to prioritise dynamically and maintain delivery momentum during periods of change or shifting business priorities.
- A proven track record of creating high-quality video, photography, and graphic content for corporate platforms, with an ability to strategically repurpose and adapt external content for internal channels.
- Hands-on experience managing corporate websites and optimisation projects alongside external technical agencies.
Data & Analytical Insights
- Proven capability in tracking and assessing web and social media metrics to evaluate content performance and iteratively refine digital outputs.
Influencing & Project Management
- Demonstrated success in managing creative agencies and vendors to execute major multi-media deliverables.
- Strong ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams to harvest stories and translate business strategies into clear consumer and corporate narratives.
Other Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
- Willingness to support occasional out-of-hours or weekend work and regular travel within the UK.
