Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for creating content that truly makes a difference? At Pets at Home, we're looking for a Content Manager to lead and evolve our owned content channels, helping millions of pet parents access trusted advice, inspiring stories and expert guidance throughout every stage of their pet ownership journey.
About the Role
Working closely with our Senior Content & Social Media Manager, you'll shape the editorial direction of channels including Pets Talk, Pets Magazine, and YouTube, creating engaging, expert-led content that strengthens our position as the UK's leading pet care brand. From developing editorial plans and commissioning content, to optimising performance through SEO, audience insight, and emerging AI tools, you'll play a key role in how pet owners discover, engage with, and trust our brand.

You'll collaborate with veterinary experts, Marketing, CRM, Commercial, and Pets Foundation teams to deliver content that educates, inspires, and drives meaningful engagement, while identifying new opportunities across video, audio, and emerging content formats.
The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.
About You
You'll be an experienced content professional with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, alongside a strong understanding of content strategy, SEO, and audience growth.
You'll have experience managing editorial calendars, delivering multi-channel content plans, and using performance insights to continuously improve results.
Experience with YouTube, video content, publishing, or content marketing is essential, while knowledge of the pet care sector, podcasting, or content creation tools would be a bonus.
