Scientific Climate Ratings
(Permanent position, London)
A unique opportunity to support the thought leadership strategy of a pioneering climate risk startup, Scientific Climate Ratings (an EDHEC Venture) empowering investors and issuers with scientific ratings of climate risk financial materiality.
Position overview
This role sits at the intersection of climate research, finance product development, and content production. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for transforming climate risk methodologies, model outputs, and research insights into clear, structured, and decision-relevant content for professional audiences (investors, risk teams, financial institutions).
You will work closely with researchers while maintaining a high level of autonomy in content production, contributing directly to the development of Scientific Climate Ratings’ external voice and market positioning. Thus, this is not a pure marketing or journalism role; it requires the ability to understand technical content and translate it into investor-grade insights.
You will report to the Head of Product.
Main Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution (Core of the role)
- Own and execute a high-volume content roadmap aligned with research, product, and market priorities (including maintaining social media presence and a monthly newsletter)
- Structure major outputs into coherent content ecosystems across formats and channels
- Work closely with research, product, sales, and marketing teams across the agency
- Operate effectively in a transversal, fast-evolving environment, ensuring consistency and impact
Strategic Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Contribute directly to shaping how Scientific Climate Ratings is perceived externally, positioning both as leaders in climate risk financial materiality
- Develop high-impact narratives connecting research to market events, regulation, and investor concerns
- Build a consistent and differentiated voice across both entities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Join a growing EDHEC venture startup
EDHEC Business School has been recognized for over 20 years for its expertise in finance. Beyond its academic pursuits, EDHEC has ventured into the business world with remarkable success. Notably, it launched "Scientific Beta," a smart index provider sold to the Singapore Stock Exchange for over 200 million euros in January 2020. Following this achievement, EDHEC introduced "Scientific Infra & Private Assets (SIPA)," expanding its footprint in analytics and ESMA-regulated financial services. SIPA has been acquired by PEI Group in March 2026, highlighting again the credibility of such EDHEC ventures for the market.
Reflecting its continuous effort to leverage academic and business expertise to make an impact, EDHEC, via its Climate Institute, produces significant research, enabling the creation of new ventures such as Scientific Climate Ratings, the first climate risk rating agency, which brings its unique data and ratings on climate risk financial materiality to the market.
