We are excited to be working with a growing independent adventure tour operator that prides itself on bringing people from different cultures and communities together, through unforgettable travel experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Content Manager to join their marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term, maternity cover contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and inspiring content across multiple channels, including blogs, email campaigns, websites and social media. You will play a key role in bringing the company's incredible trips and destinations to life, creating content that drives engagement, strengthens the brand and ultimately generates bookings.

THE ROLE:

  • Generate and write original, engaging blog content
  • Manage day-to-day content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Create and manage a month-by-month content calendar across multiple channels
  • Track content performance and adapt strategy based on insights and engagement
  • Write, edit and publish engaging website content
  • Commission, edit and publish blogs from Tour Leaders, staff and clients
  • Source and manage third-party bloggers and content contributors, including destination and city guides
  • Proofread marketing materials across the wider marketing team
  • Mentor and support the Content Executive
  • Support wider marketing activity, including advertising, direct mail and events
  • Contribute creative ideas towards wider marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Stay up to date with content and social media trends, while monitoring competitor activity

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a marketing, content or social media role
  • Previous experience within the travel or hospitality industry is highly desirable
  • Strong copywriting skills across web, blog and email content
  • Hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Excellent written English and strong proofreading skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, such as DotDigital
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior members of a team
  • A good understanding of SEO principles for web and blog content
  • Experience using design platforms such as Canva

THE PACKAGE:

  • Competitive salary of £32,000–£38,000 DOE
  • 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract
  • Hybrid working – London office attendance approximately 2–4 days per month
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
  • Opportunity to spend approximately 10 working days overseas
