Job Description
Marcus Evans, founded in 1983, is a global business intelligence and event marketing company, with 49 offices across 20+ countries. Headquartered in the UK, we are rated among the top 20 UK companies for work/life balance.
Our Summits, Conferences and Online Events bring together senior decision-makers and industry experts to explore the issues, technologies and trends shaping their sectors. Our client base includes C-level executives from 98% of Fortune 1000 companies, spanning industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, investments, energy and technology.
We are looking for driven, curious and confident graduates to join our Content Management team in London.
This is a role with genuine ownership from an early stage. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing the content for your own portfolio of international conferences and taking each event through the full production cycle from researching the market and identifying the issues that matter, through to building the agenda, securing senior speakers and ultimately running the event on-site.
You will work directly with senior executives, industry experts and thought leaders from leading organisations, giving you the opportunity to build a strong professional network while developing a detailed understanding of the industries you work in. The topics you work on are constantly evolving. Depending on your portfolio, you could find yourself researching the impact of AI and emerging technology, climate change, financial crime, digital assets, pharmaceutical innovation or other issues shaping the future of global industries.
And the role doesn't stop at the London office. Our producers travel internationally to deliver their events, with recent and upcoming locations including New York, Toronto, San Diego, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris and more.
You will also have access to a structured training programme covering conference production, research, speaker acquisition, communication, commercial awareness and project management. Alongside formal training, you will work closely with experienced Content Managers and senior leaders across the business, with regular opportunities to learn from their experience and take on greater responsibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
