V&C Associates are excited to be working on newly created position.
Our client is one of the UK's most established FMCG businesses — a heritage brand that has held royal warrants for the past century, with a loyal customer base and a growing membership proposition at the heart of its strategy.
This is a newly created role with real ownership. You'll shape and deliver the brand's content strategy — building a distinctive editorial programme that brings its heritage, expertise and network to life across every channel, and drives engagement, acquisition and retention.
The Role
- Own the content strategy and annual editorial calendar, from concept through to delivery
- Create compelling themes, narratives and storytelling that bring the brand's heritage and expertise to life across food and drink, dining, travel, culture and luxury lifestyle
- Develop differentiated content aligned to customer tiers, commercial objectives and a premium brand positioning
- Produce and commission content across formats — editorial, film, social, email and events storytelling
- Work hand in hand with the Membership and Events teams to amplify experiences before, during and after each moment
- Collaborate with external brands, cultural institutions, chefs, producers and creators on co-created content and partnerships
- Leverage the client's unique producer and supplier network to unlock exclusive stories, access and collaborations
- Partner with Marketing, Buying, Private Clients and Hospitality teams to align content with business priorities
- Set clear objectives, budgets and success measures; use engagement, audience and commercial data to evolve the programme
- Stay ahead of emerging trends across luxury, food and drink, travel, culture and membership businesses

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
