The Role

The content marketing executive is responsible for creating compelling content to support SEO, AEO and GEO goals, campaign initiatives and other marketing needs. Content developed will support inbound and outbound campaigns and may take the form of guides, blogs, customer advocacy, newsletters, emails, social posts, video scripts, web copy and more.

A Little About You...

  • Draft written content for the development of articles, blogs, guides, ebooks, templates, infographics, emails, interactive content, and more.
  • Assist with social planning and asset creation.
  • Assist the content marketing manager and marketing team with content calendar contributions and upkeep.
  • Work closely with Brand, Events, Creative, and Sales teams to support cross-functional campaigns and support collateral needed outside of campaigns.
  • Support people within the wider business with ad hoc requests for writing, imagery, video, and presentations.
  • Maintain content standards, including governance and maintenance of content.
  • Engage in competitor analysis and content research including AI prompt analysis.

Experience

  • Demonstrable B2B content marketing experience.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a portfolio of written work.
  • Experience writing and designing for social channels as well as programming content in line with business priorities and marketing objectives.
  • Proven history of working on multimedia projects and campaigns.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of organic SEO best practices and AEO content structures.
  • Understanding of standard writing styles, including APA, AP, Chicago, etc.
  • Ability to edit and provide feedback to others.

Characteristics

  • Creative flair and ability to generate and execute inspirational ideas and briefs.
  • A proactive, highly organised self-starter able to work in a remote-friendly team.
  • Enthusiasm for content creation and trying new things.
  • Prolific reader and a person who is curious about content in the world is ideal.
