Hours: Monday- Friday 9am- 5:00pm
At Grundon, we’re looking for a creative, commercially minded Content Marketing Executive to join our eight strong Marketing team based in Colnbrook near Heathrow Airport. This is an opportunity for someone who knows how to turn a good idea into content that gets noticed, gets people talking and delivers results.
By joining Grundon, your contributions will make a real difference as we work together to show the world that there is more to waste than it seems.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership from idea through to delivery, working across everything from websites, blogs and email to social media, sales materials, video and thought leadership. You’ll be confident working independently, whilst also being comfortable collaborating in a team environment. We want someone who brings ideas, spots opportunities and thinks for themselves – finding new and better ways to engage our audiences and support our customers.
Commercial awareness is equally important. You will understand that great content isn’t just about being creative; it needs to have a purpose, connect with the right people and ultimately support our wider business goals.
No two days will be the same. You’ll be juggling multiple projects, working with a variety of people across the business and thinking on your feet. You’ll also have a keen eye for detail, ensuring our content is consistent, engaging and recognisably Grundon across every channel.
With SEO, AI and the way people discover information changing rapidly, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape how Grundon’s content performs in both traditional and AI-powered search.
If you’re a confident content marketer who combines creativity with commercial thinking, enjoys getting stuck in and wants the freedom to bring your own ideas to the table, we’d love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
