A DIFFERENT KIND OF MARKETING ROLE…
We're not looking for somebody to simply manage social media, update websites or write content.
We're looking for somebody who wants the opportunity to help shape how our business communicates, tells its story and presents itself to customers.
This is a role for someone who enjoys creating, improving and influencing.
Someone who gets excited about turning a customer success story into a compelling case study.
Someone who spots opportunities to improve a website, strengthen a brand or develop a new campaign.
Someone who wants their work to have a visible impact!
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS…
We're an established family business with ambitious plans.
Over recent years we've invested heavily in our marketing, digital presence, customer experience and business improvement initiatives. The challenge we now face isn't a lack of ideas.
It's creating the capacity to deliver more of them.
This role will become the driving force behind our content, social media activity, website development, brand storytelling and customer engagement.
By owning the day-to-day execution of these areas, you'll help bring our projects, people, products and customers to life while supporting the continued growth of Portable Offices and the wider group.
WHAT YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO INFLUENCE…

This includes:
- Developing engaging content across multiple channels.
- Creating customer case studies and project stories.
- Supporting internal communications and employee engagement.
- Maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence.
- Helping ensure our marketing reflects our values, culture and customer experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
