About the company
A well established global B2B events, media and digital content business, producing market leading conferences and online communities for senior decision makers across several specialist sectors, including defence and security. Content sits at the heart of its growth plans, and the content team works closely with marketing, production and sales colleagues in London and overseas. The business is known for a structured three month induction, extensive ongoing training and genuine career progression, with hybrid working from a London office.
Role responsibilities
- Turn complex conference agendas and expert insight into downloadable content that drives registrations, including reports, infographics, mini market reports, whitepapers and speaker interviews.
- Deliver around three to four new pieces of content per event, repurposing existing material where it adds value.
- Analyse which formats and topics each audience responds to, and shape the content plan around what drives sign ups and event revenue.
- Generate your own ideas and trial new formats, rather than waiting for briefs from the event team.
- Work closely with event producers, marketing managers and sales colleagues to align content with audience needs and commercial targets.
- Write articles for the online community portals and own the content calendar, using SEO and AI search best practice to grow organic visibility.
- Build relationships with speakers, sponsors and industry influencers to strengthen the brand's credibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
