iChoosr is looking for a Content Marketer to strengthen our marketing team. Are you a born storyteller? Do you have excellent writing skills? Are you interested in sustainability? Would you like to work in an international organisation committed to sustainability? Then look no further!
Welcome to the world of iChoosr!
We are a young, growing, international, private company. Since our start in 2008, we have grown into an organisation with more than 160 colleagues working in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, the US, Poland, and Japan.
Our mission is to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. With a proven track record of tens of thousands of battery, solar power, and heat pump installations, we are well-positioned to make a concrete impact. We currently organise collective purchasing actions for these sustainable products.
We are people-oriented, which means we view the world through the eyes, hearts, and minds of people in everything we do. Our digital platform creates the ideal customer journey for both the consumer and our partners.
Since 2008, we have helped 2.7 million consumers switch to a sustainable energy contract and have helped more than 170,000 people install solar panels on their roofs and generate their own electricity.
What will be your role?
As our Content Marketing Manager, you will serve a dual purpose: you are the hands-on content engine for our UK market (60%), and the strategic compass for our global content team (40%).
With content now at the forefront of our global efforts, we are looking for someone to spot the best opportunities, elevate our standards, and transition us into a truly forward-thinking content engine. You will own the UK content calendar from end to end—researching, writing, and executing high-impact campaigns. Simultaneously, you will guide content strategy internationally. You won't just take requests; you will govern the content pipeline, ensuring every asset we produce drives organic growth and aligns with our new global ambitions.
Your responsibilities
- UK Content Execution: Roll up your sleeves to research, write, and optimise high-value content for the UK market, including blogs, campaign landing pages, web editorial, and SEO-driven assets.
- Drive the Global Content Engine: Help deliver our renewed international content marketing strategy. Spot emerging opportunities, define cross-market themes, establish A/B testing frameworks, and transform our global operations into a proactive, forward-thinking engine.
- Strategic Execution: Design and implement content strategies focused on organic growth, prioritising high-value output over infinite, unstructured production.
- Pipeline Management: Work with internal stakeholders to gather insights, while rigorously managing content requests, setting realistic deadlines, and protecting your strategic focus.
- Template & Empower: Maintain brand consistency by developing scalable guidelines and templates, empowering operational teams to self-serve basic asset needs.
- Optimise & Analyse: Continuously improve content using SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and performance data.
- Audience Growth: Ensure a strong, engaging web and social presence, coordinating distribution without getting bogged down in daily administrative folder management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who will you be working with?
You will report directly to the Country Marketing Manager, partnering with them closely to drive both our UK regional targets and our renewed global initiatives. Locally, you will also collaborate with the performance marketer, designers, and business leadership. Globally, you will act as a senior peer and strategic guide to marketing specialists in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Tokyo, and the US. Alongside these teams, you will work digitally with expert teams in digital design, data analytics, customer experience, and IT.
Who are you?
- You have 4-6 years of proven experience in content marketing, with a portfolio that shows both strategic planning and excellent hands-on writing.
- You are a forward-thinker who spots opportunities where others see just another task, ready to help transform a traditional marketing setup into a modern content engine.
- You are a "player-coach"—equally comfortable defining a 12-month global content strategy as you are writing a persuasive landing page.
- You are highly organised and possess the professional confidence to manage senior stakeholders, push back on off-strategy requests, and enforce a disciplined content calendar.
- You have deep, hands-on experience with the Google Suite (Analytics, Search Console) and SEO tools, using data to inform your editorial choices.
- You know how to extract complex information from subject matter experts and translate it into engaging, accessible content.
- You have a genuine interest in sustainability and sustainable living.
- You thrive in a role that requires both cross-border collaboration and a high degree of independent execution.
