About the Role
We’re looking for one hands-on freelance Meta + Google Ads operator to support a UK luxury ecommerce brand on an ongoing freelance / contractor basis. Strategy and brand direction are already led internally by people with extensive Meta and ecommerce experience, so this is not a role for someone who wants to reinvent the funnel or arrive with a completely new approach. We need someone who can execute an agreed strategy extremely well, monitor performance closely, spot what is and isn’t working with our head of strategy, create sensible weekly iterations and keep the account moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Meta Focus: The main focus is on Meta, with Google currently much simpler and largely centred on own-brand search.
- Daily Tasks: Includes day-to-day campaign monitoring, campaign QA, weekly creative iteration for each active ad set, and producing the main Meta formats properly in suitable versions.
- Creative Work: Comfortable working directly in Canva, Photoshop or similar, and able to adapt creative thoughtfully rather than simply auto-resizing it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements
- Individual Contributor: We are specifically looking for one freelancer who personally does the work, not an agency or someone who will pass campaign management or creative production to a wider team.
- Good Judgement: Matters a lot to us. We want someone who understands how to compare competing ads properly, knows when there is enough data to act, and can report clearly on what happened, what changed and what should happen next.

Availability
- UK Time Zone: We work on UK time, so you should be available for a substantial part of the UK working day and able to join two short calls each week in UK afternoons.
- Initial Engagement: The initial engagement is a one-month paid trial of 9 hours per week, around 40 hours in total.
Application
When you apply, please include examples of Meta work you personally created and managed, ideally showing the same ad adapted well across multiple formats and how you assessed performance between competing ads in the same ad set.
