Job Overview

The Content Operations Coordinator will have total responsibility for the receipt and operational processing of materials, associated elements and metadata from a wide range of suppliers internally and externally. They will ensure that all elements of the content and ancillary data are ready for onward delivery.

Working alongside other Content Operations teams for storage ingress and further version creation, to ensure that each version or subsequent element of a programme adheres to the Fremantle requirements and is processed to deadline. The role will involve ensuring multiple internal software tracking and material management systems are populated with relevant data and suppliers can deliver files.

This role requires daily global liaison with multiple teams across the business and external entities. They are responsible for troubleshooting any material or workflow challenges.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Working within Media Supply Chain architecture to process materials
  • Maintaining live system records, keeping these accurate and up to date.
  • Ensuring materials are delivered to contract and spec and exceptions managed appropriately.
  • Booking required edits with post houses and managing timelines for these.
  • Effectively hitting all deadlines for delivery, dispatch and return of materials.
  • Prioritising tasks around 'live show' deliveries if needed outside of normal working hours.
  • Highlighting any legacy issues in advance and managing transfer of catalogue delivery schedules alongside the MAM team.
  • Troubleshooting any late running files, daily communication with edit houses and localisation operations as well as internal clients depending on impact.
  • Updating tools with metadata and documentation.
  • Elevated level of both internal and external communication.
  • Ad hoc tasks to co-ordinate material support for campaigns, launches and colleagues.

Responsibility for Resources

  • Media Supply Chain application(s) use.
  • Internal Edit/Post House - Work Order Management.

What we're looking for

  • Some experience of the Media Industry and in content operations.
  • Computer literate, previous use of Media Supply Chain systems.
  • Excellent organisational/administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • The ability to effectively manage many different projects and clients simultaneously, prioritising as necessary.
  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills, good team player.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to different demands.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Initiative, proactivity, and motivation.
  • Language skills would be an advantage.
