The Role

To develop, create and publish a range of engaging content that can be used to support Transport for Wales' (TfW) media releases and social media channels.

Role Responsibilities

  • Produce a range of media content through photo, film, animation, design, and social-first mobile content to support media releases and social media platforms that engages with a range of TfW audiences.
  • Develop a content plan that will support the TfW Communication Plan that focuses on innovative ways to promote the TfW narrative.
  • Film and edit the key transformational programmes that TfW are undertaking including transformational work across the Wales and Borders network and on key projects such as the South Wales Metro, Network North Wales, and Bus Franchising, to allow TfW to digitally tell a story to our key audiences.
  • Develop a library of content that adheres to brand guidelines by working closely with the Content Lead. Ensure all content is diverse and managed on TfW's media hub for use by the media and our partners.
  • Produce reactive content in a short timeframe using photo, film, animations, or social-first mobile content that can then be used reactively across all platforms in a changing and challenging media landscape.
  • Own and manage the production of TfW content and work with agencies and partners to ensure all content follows a similar style and format to ensure brand guidelines are met.
  • Meet and organise meetings/interviews with relevant staff and stakeholders by working with different departments across the businesses and identifying opportunities which will support the TfW narrative on external platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
