The opportunity

We're partnering with a successful and growing digital media publisher to appoint a Content Producer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented video journalist and storyteller to create compelling, research-led content for a large digital audience. You'll work across YouTube and other content formats, researching emerging stories, pitching creative ideas, writing scripts and overseeing video production from initial concept through to completion.

The role has been created due to continued growth and offers opportunities for domestic and international travel approximately three to four times per year.

Key responsibilities

  • Research relevant trends, developments and stories.
  • Pitch original and compelling ideas for digital-video content.
  • Turn complex or technical subjects into accessible stories for mainstream audiences.
  • Write engaging scripts and develop clear storyboards.
  • Lead assigned productions from concept through to delivery.
  • Work closely with editorial leads, editors and other creative colleagues.
  • Source third-party footage, images and supporting evidence.
  • Secure the appropriate licences, permissions and releases.
  • Develop a strong network of sources and industry contacts.
  • Ensure all content meets the required editorial, journalistic and legal standards.
  • Contribute to content across YouTube and potentially podcasts, events and other formats.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
