Job Title: Content Retoucher

Location: London, SW11 8BZ (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract initially

Summary:

We're looking for a Content Retoucher to support the delivery of artwork for original TV shows and films on platform.
Working closely alongside our content designers and art directors, you'll take approved concepts and compositions through to final, pixel-perfect execution — ensuring every image is production-ready, consistent, and true to the creative direction established for each title.
This role sits downstream of concept and design, focusing on the craft of finishing: high end retouching, clean compositing, and precise grading across cover art.
You’ll work from layered files, unit photography, and episodic stills, and will often be the last set of hands on an asset before final production and publishing.
As an experienced member of the team, you're expected to work entirely autonomously, exercise strong craft judgment on ambiguous or complex assets, set technical standards for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take design approved compositions through to fully finished, on-platform-ready artwork.
  • Perform advanced retouching (skin, wardrobe, environment, cleanup) while preserving the tone and intent set by the content designer and art director.
  • Execute precise compositing work across multiple source assets — stills, unit photography, and layered PSDs — ensuring seamless integration and consistent lighting/perspective, even on the most technically demanding assets.
  • Apply grading and colour correction to match established visual direction across a title's artwork set.
  • Own file hygiene standards (layer structure, naming, resolution, colour space) and ensure smooth handoff to production pipelines.
  • Partner closely with content designers and art directors to understand creative intent, flag technical constraints, and proactively troubleshoot problem assets before they become blockers.
  • Manage multiple assets/titles in parallel across competing deadlines, prioritizing independently and escalating only when necessary.
  • Contribute expertise to defining best practices as the volume of original titles scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
