CONTENT SPECIALIST - DROPHOUSE
Full Time ยท Nantwich ยท Salary ยฃ36k-ยฃ42k + Performance-Based Bonuses
Drophouse is a live commerce company based in Nantwich.
We build brands, create content and run live shopping shows across TikTok and other platforms for audiences across the UK.
Our flagship channel, TechDrops, is growing quickly, and there are more Drophouse brands following behind it.
Weโre looking for a Content Specialist to help tell those stories.
This is a hybrid creative role spanning social content, live commerce, campaigns and PR.
One day you might be shooting product-led TikToks for TechDrops. The next, building hype around an upcoming live show, developing a standout idea for a broadcast or creating the content behind a wider Drophouse campaign.
We want someone who understands how brands get attention, and knows how to turn an idea into something people actually want to watch.
WHAT YOUโLL DO
Youโll work across Drophouse and our portfolio of brands, helping create the content and ideas that sit around everything we do.
Your role will include:
- Creating original, product-focused TikTok and short-form content
- Shooting and editing content from idea through to finished post
- Developing creative concepts for TechDrops and other Drophouse-owned brands
- Building content campaigns around upcoming live shows, launches and events
- Creating hype before major broadcasts and capturing the moments that happen during them
- Developing standout creative ideas for live broadcasts, special shows and brand moments
- Supporting PR campaigns with strong creative concepts, stories and content
- Turning Drophouse milestones, launches and achievements into content worth talking about
- Identifying trends and working out how our brands can use them without forcing it
- Creating reactive content around products, culture and moments happening online
- Working with presenters to develop content beyond the live broadcast
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content across the studio and wider business
- Testing hooks, formats, edits and creative approaches
- Reviewing performance and using what works to improve what comes next
Reasons to use Rodeo
Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right โ and where to focus when applying.
Some of the work will be planned weeks ahead. Some of the best opportunities will appear that morning. You need to be good at both.
MORE THAN SOCIAL CONTENT
This role goes beyond managing TikTok accounts.
Live commerce gives us the opportunity to create moments โ not just posts.
We want someone constantly thinking about how we make the next show bigger, more interesting and more talked about.
That might mean:
- Creating a campaign around a major 24-hour broadcast
- Building anticipation for a new channel or product drop
- Developing a challenge, stunt or format for a live show
- Turning a company milestone into a PR-worthy moment
- Finding interesting collaborations
- Creating content that gives journalists, creators and audiences something worth sharing
- Finding ways to turn what happens live into content that travels much further afterwards
WHAT WEโRE LOOKING FOR
First and foremost, you need strong creative instinct. You understand content, but you can also see the bigger idea around it. You can look at a product, live show or company milestone and start thinking about how to turn it into something interesting.
Creative
You bring ideas. Not just variations of trends you've already seen. We want someone who can contribute original concepts and then actually make them happen.
TikTok-native
You understand TikTok beyond knowing which sounds are trending. You understand hooks, pacing, humour, formats, creators, comments and why certain ideas spread.
Product-focused
Products are a huge part of what we do. You can make them look interesting, desirable and culturally relevant without every piece of content feeling like an advert.
Big-picture thinking
You can think beyond the individual post. You understand how content, PR, live broadcasts, launches and brand moments can work together as one idea.
Fast
Not everything needs three weeks of planning. When something interesting happens, you recognise the opportunity and move while it's still relevant.
Commercially aware
We're building brands and selling products. You understand that great creative should ultimately build attention, audience, brand and demand.

YOU DONโT NEED
- A marketing degree
- A huge personal following
- Years of agency experience
- A perfectly polished portfolio
- Traditional PR experience
You do need to show us that you understand what makes good content and have ideas of your own. That could come from professional work, your own channels, freelance projects, a brand you've worked with or simply a portfolio that makes us want to see more.
WORKING AT DROPHOUSE
Drophouse sits somewhere between commerce, content and entertainment. We run live channels, launch brands, sell products and create the content around all of it. That gives you a lot to play with. New products arrive constantly. New brands launch. Live shows happen every day. Presenters are on set. Records get broken. Trends change. Something unexpected happens in the studio. Any of it can become the next idea. You'll work across Drophouse rather than being stuck creating variations of the same content for one brand every day. And because we're building these brands ourselves, good ideas can move quickly. If you've got an idea at 10am, we can be shooting it by lunchtime.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're building Drophouse at the same time as we're building the brands underneath it. That creates a pretty unusual creative opportunity. You'll have the chance to help shape how our brands look and behave online, how we promote our biggest live shows and how Drophouse itself shows up publicly. As we grow, this role can grow with it, across content, campaigns, creative, PR and live commerce. We're looking for someone who wants to help create the moments people remember, not just the posts that fill the feed.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us your CV, portfolio or examples of content you've created. More importantly, show us something good. Send us a TikTok you've made, an account you've worked on, a campaign or idea you're proud of, or even something you think Drophouse should be doing that we aren't already. We care significantly more about your creative instinct than how impressive your CV looks on paper.
