Content Strategist

Location: London or Brighton | Hybrid - 2 days per week in office
Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

We're working with a leading global digital and experience agency looking for a Content Strategist to join its growing content and experience practice. This is a strategic, client-facing role for someone who can turn complex information, data, and insights into clear, actionable content strategies that improve how brands plan, create, and optimise content.

The Role

You'll:

  • Lead content strategy and large-scale content audits across major client accounts.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and actionable recommendations across content, editorial, and organic social.
  • Work directly with clients, leading presentations and becoming a trusted strategic partner.
  • Analyse content performance, SEO, and audience insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with SEO, UX, Paid Media, and creative teams to deliver joined-up strategies.
  • Help develop frameworks, best practices, case studies, and thought leadership.
  • Mentor and collaborate with other strategists and content specialists.
  • Stay ahead of developments in SEO, GEO/AEO, AI, and the evolving content landscape.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in content strategy, organic social, content design, or editorial.
  • Agency experience or experience working across multiple brands.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills.
  • Good understanding of SEO, analytics, and content performance.
  • Knowledge of modern discoverability, including GEO/AEO.
  • Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with CMS and project management tools.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, user-focused recommendations.
  • An interest in using AI and emerging tools to improve content planning and production.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.
