The role:

Dadsnet Media Group owns and operates a growing portfolio of highly engaged social media pages and online communities across parenting, football, camping, seasonal family content, and retro gaming.

We’re looking for a commercially minded content strategist & creator who can grow these audiences and turn their attention into sustainable revenue.

This is not a traditional social media role. You’ll be responsible for evaluating & creating content people genuinely want to engage with, growing our communities, and developing products, partnerships, and campaigns that generate revenue.

You’ll work across several established communities, including:

  • The Football Collective: Grow its existing revenue through advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, affiliate opportunities, and new commercial products.
  • Elf on the Shelf community: Develop and sell downloadable products, activity packs, templates, and other digital resources.
  • Family Camping UK: Build relationships with campsites, holiday parks, and camping brands, creating compelling advertising and partnership opportunities.
  • Retro Gaming & Nostalgia: Grow the page, develop its commercial proposition, and generate revenue through content, relevant brands, products, and partnerships.

You’ll have clear financial targets and genuine ownership over how those targets are achieved.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Content and audience growth

  • Develop high-quality videos, graphics, and social content tailored to each community.
  • Use trends, performance data, and AI-powered workflows to grow engaged, commercially valuable audiences.
  • Maintain & enhance the distinct voice and identity of every channel.

Monetisation and revenue growth

  • Own revenue growth across your assigned channels, with clear monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Develop and sell sponsorships, brand partnerships, advertising, affiliate campaigns, and other commercial opportunities.
  • Build repeatable revenue streams and long-term partnerships—not just one-off deals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Digital products

  • Identify, create, and sell useful digital products, particularly for our Elf on the Shelf community.
  • Manage everything from product development and pricing to promotion and optimisation.
  • Use sales data and audience feedback to improve products and build repeatable seasonal campaigns.

Partnerships and campaign delivery

  • Identify, approach, and build relationships with relevant brands and businesses.
  • Create & present compelling pitches and commercial campaigns that benefit both the partner and our audience.
  • Manage campaigns from initial conversation through to delivery, reporting, and renewal.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll need to be both creative and commercially driven. Being brilliant at content is not enough on its own; you must be comfortable being accountable for revenue.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Strong skills across social media, short-form video, graphics, and copywriting.
  • A clear understanding of what performs across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Experience monetising audiences through partnerships, sponsorships, e-commerce, or digital products.
  • Confidence approaching businesses, pitching ideas, and closing commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to use AI tools to create high-quality content efficiently.
  • Commercially minded, data-driven, and comfortable working towards revenue targets.
  • Proactive, resilient, and capable of taking an idea from concept to revenue.
  • Experience in football, camping, gaming, or family media is valuable—but execution matters more.

How success will be measured:

This role has one core KPI: Revenue growth.

You’ll be responsible for increasing the total revenue generated across the assigned channels, with clear monthly and quarterly financial targets.

That revenue may come from:

  • Recurring commercial partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Digital product sales.
  • Affiliate and e-commerce income.
  • Brand deals and advertising campaigns.
  • New monetisation opportunities you identify and develop.

Audience growth, engagement, and content performance still matter but ultimately, they are tools for achieving the primary goal: building sustainable and growing revenue.

The kind of person who will thrive:

You see an engaged audience and immediately start thinking about how to serve it better and how that value can become a sustainable business.

You’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable testing ideas quickly. You don’t wait to be handed a detailed plan. You research the audience, identify the opportunity, create the content, build the commercial proposition, and take responsibility for the result.

You’re equally comfortable creating a social video, developing a digital product, pitching a brand, and reviewing the revenue numbers.

You understand that monetisation should never come at the expense of audience trust. The best commercial ideas improve the community rather than interrupt it.

What we offer:

  • Ownership of established channels with significant commercial potential.
  • The freedom to test and develop new ideas.
  • A performance-related bonus linked to the revenue you generate.
  • Access to Dadsnet’s wider creative, commercial, and audience expertise.
  • The opportunity to build new revenue streams rather than simply maintain existing ones.
  • A fast-moving, ambitious environment where strong ideas can be executed quickly.

(We’re less interested in generic applications and more interested in evidence that you can combine creativity with commercial results.)
