Every month, millions of people watch, listen to and read our content across YouTube, Instagram, podcasts, newsletters and our app.
Now we're looking for a skilled writer who can turn evidence-based health information into content people want to read, save, share and act on.
Every word matters. We care deeply about helping people actually change how they cook, eat and think about their health.
What you’ll be doing
You'll write across every part of our content ecosystem, including:
- Instagram captions, Reels hooks and talking points
- YouTube titles, thumbnails and scripts
- Newsletter copy and subject lines
- Podcast titles, show notes and descriptions
- Articles
- App content and notifications

You'll also:
- Pitch and develop new content ideas
- Help shape scripts for filming
- Stay on top of creators, trends and formats
- Work closely with our content and production team
- Learn what our audience cares about from comments, user interviews and feedback
We're looking for
An exceptional writer who can make complex health information engaging and useful
- Experience in nutrition, healthcare or science communication
- A strong understanding of nuance, accuracy and responsible health communication
- Someone curious, proactive and full of ideas
Our writing style
The Doctor's Kitchen is a personality-led brand. A big part of this role is understanding how Dr Rupy speaks, explains ideas and connects with people, so the writing feels authentic, not generic.
