About QOVES

QOVES is a technology company pioneering facial aesthetics, helping consumers make smarter beauty decisions. Every day, people make important decisions about their appearance based on guesswork or generic advice. We help them decide with clarity instead. Our platform gives customers a clear, science-backed understanding of their face, paired with bespoke advice on how they can look better. Our work reaches millions: more than 2.5 million people follow QOVES across platforms and most importantly, our customers are delighted, with 4.8 stars across 600+ reviews; we believe this reflects the care and sensitivity with which we approach everyone who comes to us for guidance. We're a profitable, growing company headquartered in London, with a team across the globe. What guides us is simple: people deserve more than one-size-fits-all advice when it comes to their appearance. Every decision we make (from the science behind our models to the way we communicate results) is grounded in evidence, responsibility, and a broad, inclusive understanding of beauty.

About the Role

We're hiring our first dedicated content writer to own our blog and produce a high volume of sharp, engaging content: customer stories, beauty and aesthetics explainers, science communication pieces, product features, and more. You'll work full-time from The Library in London, where you'll write the kind of content that builds trust and brings people closer to what we do.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The non-negotiable requirement for this role is excellent writing. You can find the human thread in a story and tell it cleanly, across any topic. In an age of AI, a distinctive human voice is what makes the difference.

This is a writing role first, but not a traditional one. We work with a modern, tech-heavy content stack. You'll need to be genuinely comfortable with software and tools and quick to pick up new ones. A writer who's uncomfortable with a terminal or unfamiliar tools won't thrive here. It's also a ground-floor role with real trajectory: you'll start as the writer and potentially grow into shaping strategy and leading a team of your own.

What You'll Do

  • Write across our blog: customer stories, beauty and aesthetics explainers, science communication pieces, product and feature content, and whatever else earns attention and trust.
  • Turn complex or technical topics (the science, research, and thinking behind our products) into clear, engaging pieces a general audience actually wants to read.
  • Own the blog's voice and quality, keeping everything sharp, credible, and unmistakably QOVES.
  • Work hands-on with our content tooling to produce and refine a high volume of work at pace.
  • Help build the content function over time: processes, standards, and eventually a team you lead.
  • Cover topics including evolutionary explanations for attractiveness preferences, cognitive psychology theories of face perception, skincare products based on evidence, social consequences of attractiveness, and social trait inference from first impressions.

  • Ambitious about growing into a leadership role as the team scales.
