Role: Content Writer / Journalist
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $90,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Content Writer / Journalist to research, report, and write across our editorial channels. The role combines reporting rigor with strong narrative craft — turning interviews, data, and observation into stories worth reading.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write articles, features, and explainers across assigned beats
- Conduct interviews with sources, experts, and stakeholders
- Pitch and develop story angles aligned to editorial strategy
- Edit and fact-check own work and contribute to team editing
- Optimise content for search, social, and reader engagement
- Maintain editorial calendar discipline and deadlines

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years writing professionally for publication or brand journalism
- Strong reporting, interviewing, and research skills
- Excellent writing voice with range across formats
- Familiarity with SEO basics and CMS platforms
- Discipline around deadlines and editorial standards
- Portfolio of published work required
