We are looking for a Content Writer to join our dynamic team at Gear4music. If you're passionate about creating engaging content that drives sales - and excited to grow in a supportive, dynamic environment - this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Do

You'll be responsible for creating persuasive, well-informed copy for our PA & Lighting products, ensuring each product listing is effective in driving customer engagement. Using tools like Generative AI (ChatGPT), you'll enhance your content creation process and streamline tasks where appropriate. You'll also collaborate with internal teams - such as Merchandising and SEO - to deliver high-quality product listings and blog content.

Your role will involve:

  • Crafting copy for product listings, blogs, and other content to engage customers and boost sales
  • Researching brands and products to produce accurate and compelling copy
  • Using tools like ChatGPT and other AI to improve efficiency, while identifying and sharing new ways to streamline processes with the content team
  • Setting up and publishing product pages in our bespoke CMS (with full training provided)
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all marketing efforts

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s excited about leveraging their content writing skills and learning more about e-commerce and marketing. Even if you don’t tick every box, we’d love to hear from you; what matters most is your ambition and drive to succeed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
