Job Opportunity: Content Writer & SEO Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Writer & SEO Specialist based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to create content that strengthens digital visibility, engages target audiences, and contributes directly to business growth. You will combine strong storytelling and editorial skills with practical SEO expertise to produce content across multiple marketing channels. The position involves translating complex software, technology, and business concepts into clear, compelling, and search-friendly experiences. You will work across multiple brands, industries, audiences, and content priorities, requiring adaptability and strong organization. Your work will be guided by search data, user intent, content performance, and broader marketing objectives. This is an opportunity to take ownership of content initiatives while collaborating with marketing teams, subject-matter experts, and technical stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, landing pages, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
- Research industry trends, technology topics, customer challenges, search intent, and target keywords to identify valuable content opportunities.
- Develop content aligned with brand voice, marketing strategy, audience needs, and business objectives across multiple brands and industries.
- Translate complex software, product, technical, and business concepts into clear, accessible, and compelling content.
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO practices, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, keyword placement, and content structure.
- Identify opportunities to refresh and improve existing content to increase organic rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Monitor organic search performance using relevant analytics and SEO platforms, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, marketing teams, web/development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, accuracy, tone, and brand alignment.
- Repurpose existing content into different formats to maximize reach, usability, and business impact.
- Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates, SEO developments, content marketing trends, and emerging best practices.
- Support content strategy and lead-generation initiatives by tracking performance against metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, impressions, clicks, engagement, and qualified leads.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in content writing, SEO, content marketing, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, search intent, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or comparable SEO and analytics platforms.
- Strong research and analytical abilities, with the capacity to turn data and industry information into useful content recommendations.
- Ability to write effectively for different audiences, formats, buyer-journey stages, and brand voices.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical or complex topics in a simple, engaging manner.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, technology, or software environments is preferred.
- Experience producing technical or technology-focused content is an advantage.
- Understanding of content marketing, lead generation, technical SEO, link building, or off-page SEO is beneficial.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted content and research tools while maintaining originality, accuracy, quality, and editorial standards is an advantage.
