Contentious Private Client Lawyer – Founded in Brighton over 120 years ago, our client is well known locally both for their integrity and for the quality of their work and service that they provide. This is an excellent opportunity for a private client litigation lawyer, either Solicitor or Legal Executive looking to take a significant step, into a role with real progression with a well established and highly accredited practice in the centre of Brighton.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Contentious Probate and Estates, receiving training and support while handling a varied caseload and developing their own area of specialism. The role will initially have a strong focus on contentious probate and TOLATA matters, with the opportunity to develop a caseload in additional areas of litigation.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will need at least 2 years solid litigation experience in contentious probate and TOLATA would be advantageous, although strong experience in areas such as property litigation, contract or negligence will also be considered. You will need to have excellent technical, communication and organisational skills, a strong client focused approach and the ability to manage matters from inception through to resolution.
