An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a highly regarded and expanding team in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior contentious probate lawyer looking to develop their career within a nationally recognised practice, working alongside experienced specialists on a varied and interesting caseload.

THE ROLE

You Will Join a Busy Contentious Probate Team Advising On a Broad Range Of Disputes Relating To Wills, Trusts And Estates. Matters Will Include

  • Inheritance Act claims
  • Challenges to the validity of wills
  • Will, trust and estate disputes
  • Breaches of trust
  • Applications for the removal of executors and trustees
  • Contentious estate administration
  • Other related contentious private client matters

You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, develop strong client relationships and work on matters of varying value and complexity, including high net worth disputes.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 4 years PQE, with contentious probate experience gained either post-qualification or during a training contract.

You Will Have

  • 0-4 years PQE
  • Experience within contentious probate
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • The ability to manage your own caseload
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive and ambitious approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An interest in business development and developing your professional profile
