Contentious Probate Solicitor / 5+ years’ PQE / East Midlands / £55,000 +

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to conduct a caseload appropriate for a full-time fee earner at a well-respected firm. OVERVIEW:

  • The main duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
  • Conducting pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments.
  • Advising clients on contentious matters.
  • Drafting pleadings, statements of case, and pre-issue documentation and file with the court.
  • Attending court/conferences.
  • Organise exhibits, documents, evidence, and briefs.
  • Liaise with internal and external third parties.
  • Aid with larger claims undertaken by other fee earners.
  • Supervise junior colleagues.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Applications are welcomed from candidates with at least 5 years of experience working within a similar role.
  • You should possess great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Have the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly.
  • You should also be able to organise your caseload with a methodical approach by being self-motivated and proactive.
  • Most importantly you should have the ability to deliver excellent service to your clients and colleagues.

THE PACKAGE:

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
