Our client is a global leading insurance broker focusing on W&I, tax and contingent risk insurance. Due to the continuing growth of their client base they now require an experienced litigation specialist to join their contingent risk insurance team.
The team comprises of specialists with tax, litigation and structuring expertise from top tier law firms, investment banks and Big 4 advising on the structuring and negotiation of innovative specific risk insurance and capital solutions.
The team was originally formed to advise on tax and litigation risks arising in the context of M&A deals, they have now driven the evolution of the tax and contingent risk insurance market towards a considerable increase in demand for non-M&A litigation insurance solutions including adverse costs cover and legal asset wraps.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
