A sector-leading manufacturer has won a number of significant, long-term programmes and is now looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join its team to drive improvements across the business. Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will identify and implement opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity, supporting the ongoing development of processes and operational performance.

The Role

  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
  • Analyse processes and performance data to identify waste, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and report on results.
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
  • Six Sigma training preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple improvement activities.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively.
