Role Purpose

The Continuous Improvement Lead helps define and embed Clinisupplies’ enterprise-wide approach to business process improvement.

This role establishes the governance, standards, methodologies and capability required to drive consistent, data-led process improvement across the organisation. Working in close partnership with Business Process Analysts, Business Analysts and senior business leaders, the role ensures that process improvement initiatives deliver measurable benefits, are scalable, and are fully aligned to business and information strategy.

The role combines strategic ownership, hands-on delivery for complex change, and capability development, embedding a sustainable culture of continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Process Strategy & Governance

  • Lead the development and implementation of a group-wide approach to business process management, aligned to business strategy, technology strategy and operating model
  • Define and maintain clear process ownership, roles and responsibilities across the business
  • Establish and govern consistent process standards, controls and assurance mechanisms

Process Excellence Capability & Culture

  • Build and manage a business process excellence practice, developing devolved capability within business teams
  • Define required skills, learning pathways and ways of working that enable proactive, business-led continuous improvement
  • Inspire and influence senior stakeholders and teams to embed process excellence as a core capability

Methodology, Standards & Tooling

  • Define and own process improvement methodologies, operating principles and toolkits, including:

    • Requirements elicitation and documentation
    • Process and service modelling (As‑Is / To‑Be)
    • Analytics, modelling and reporting tools
    • Test and business validation approaches

  • Provide expert, hands-on support for the most complex and high-impact business problems

Process Design, Change & Adoption

  • Document the most complex end-to-end As‑Is and To‑Be processes
  • Ensure effective change management practices are embedded throughout the improvement lifecycle
  • Lead implementation planning from the recipient of change perspective, ensuring operational readiness and adoption

Data, Insights & Benefits Realisation

  • Use data from a wide range of sources to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities
  • Drive development of reusable, automated analytics and reporting capabilities
  • Ensure benefits are identified, quantified, tracked and reported, supporting prioritisation and investment decisions

Business Analysis & Feasibility

  • Lead and oversee business requirements gathering using workshops, interviews, document analysis and workflow analysis
  • Define a consistent approach to feasibility assessment across systems, data, people and operating model
  • Personally contribute to the most complex feasibility cases and decision papers

Knowledge Management & Standards

  • Define and maintain Clinisupplies’ enterprise knowledge bank of business processes and standards
  • Ensure all critical processes have clear ownership and up-to-date documentation
  • Oversee the production of high-quality technical and user documentation supporting process excellence

Continuous Improvement & External Awareness

  • Monitor external developments, emerging practices and tools in process excellence and continuous improvement
  • Assess their relevance and potential impact to Clinisupplies
  • Embed learning and lessons‑learned into standards and future initiatives

Systems & Applications Improvement

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing applications and the definition of new solutions by identifying process-led requirements
  • Ensure technology-enabled changes align with process standards and deliver real operational benefit
  • Ensure disaster recovery and resilience considerations are incorporated for all critical business processes

People Leadership

  • Collaborate with the virtual development team, deployed according to agreed priorities
  • Provide functional leadership and direction to Business Analysts and improvement resources aligned to programmes
  • Build a strong community of practice across the organisation

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale continuous improvement or process excellence
  • Strong background in process modelling, requirements management and operating model design
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted business partner
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data to drive prioritisation and decisions
  • Experience embedding benefits tracking and outcomes-based delivery

Desirable

  • Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, Agile or similar methodologies
  • Experience working alongside enterprise system implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM)

  • Clear enterprise process ownership established and operating
  • Consistent adoption of process standards and toolkits across the organisation
  • Demonstrable improvement in efficiency, quality, customer experience and compliance
  • Benefits tracked, realised and reported for major improvement initiatives
