Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes, supporting our customer, Waitrose. Sitting as a key stakeholder within the site’s leadership team, you will be required to facilitate the implementation of a bespoke CI strategy across the site. Through coaching and training you will promote a culture of CI at all levels, utilising the available trained resources to deliver a wide array of CI initiatives and large-scale Projects using a robust Project Management framework.
This is a full-time, permanent on-site position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £56,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

- Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement strategy to support a culture of CI across all areas of the site.
- Lead and coordinate a wide variety of identified and approved initiatives and projects designed to improve processes and performance in all areas of the business and site but with a major focus on operations.
- Ensuring all staff are actively encouraged to identify improvement opportunities and ensure activities are resourced, managed, and driven to successful completion.
- Creation of a Project tracking suite to enable project owners to create and build business cases and Project Initiation Documents in a clear and consistent manner.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities, and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Prince 2 foundation and Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt is advantageous but not essential.
- Have demonstrable experience in a similar CI Management role.
- Proven track record in change management and cultural development experience.
- Good analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
