CI & Operational Excellence Manager
£70,000 - £75,000 + 10% bonus | Bradford Area
We’re recruiting for a growing, FMCG business looking for a CI / Operational Excellence Manager to take ownership of its improvement and transformation agenda.
This is a role for someone who can spot an opportunity, build the case, bring people with them and make the change happen. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and teams across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial, leading projects that improve cost, productivity, capacity, quality and service.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify and prioritise operational improvement opportunities.
- Build business cases and demonstrate ROI.
- Lead projects from strategy and scoping through to implementation.
- Deliver measurable improvements in cost, productivity and efficiency.
- Use data, Lean/CI and structured problem-solving to challenge the status quo.
- Lead cross-functional change and ensure improvements are embedded.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic operational projects.
- Report progress, risks and benefits to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for
You’ll have a background in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, Business Improvement or Transformation, ideally within FMCG, food, manufacturing, distribution or another high-volume environment. We’re particularly interested in people who can evidence what they have changed and the results they delivered. For example:

You’ll need strong project leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills, alongside a hands-on approach to getting things done. Lean Six Sigma, Power BI, ERP/WMS, automation or digital transformation experience would be advantageous.
