We're looking for an ambitious and energetic Continuous Improvement Manager to join our operational excellence team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving change, implementing new initiatives, and embedding best practice across a large-scale national operation.

You'll work closely with depot teams across the UK, helping to standardise processes, improve performance, and create a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers significant exposure across the business and is ideal for someone looking to accelerate their career while making a measurable impact.

This is a national field-based operational role that requires regular travel to sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be expected to visit hubs and depots nationally to support operational improvement initiatives where and when business needs require.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Embedding and championing Bluebook SOPs across depot operations.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance, and ways of working.
  • Coaching and supporting operational teams to deliver sustainable results.
  • Using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Challenging the status quo and leading the adoption of smarter, more effective practices.
  • Delivering training on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Leading the rollout of new initiatives and ensuring successful implementation across the network.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure processes are practical, effective, and fully embedded.

What you’ll bring to the role:

We're looking for a proactive change agent who enjoys solving problems, influencing stakeholders, and delivering results. You'll ideally come from a logistics, transport, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, retail, or other fast-paced operational environment and have experience leading operational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Proven experience managing stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience driving operational change and successfully implementing new initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use performance data and MI to identify issues and create effective action plans.
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of operational processes and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to coach, motivate, and develop colleagues to achieve sustainable improvements.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and drive positive change.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A high level of personal ownership and accountability, seeing challenges through to resolution.
