Continuous Improvement Manager Opportunity

A vacancy has arisen for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Sourcing team at the Denham site. Reporting into the Operational Excellence Manager, the Continuous Improvement Manager will support and lead improvement initiatives across the procurement function and subsequently the wider supply chain that Martin-Baker supports.

You’ll need to work onsite all days for the first six months of employment, afterwards hybrid options can be discussed.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, leading data-driven improvement initiatives that enhance process performance, consistency, and visibility. You’ll apply LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify waste, improve flow, and embed more effective ways of working across Sourcing and associated functions.

The role involves close engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, leading and supporting cross-functional improvement activities, structured problem-solving, business system implementation, and the use of data and metrics to track performance and benefit realisation. You’ll also have line management responsibility for a Continuous Improvement Analyst, supporting their development, capability growth, and workload prioritisation.

This opportunity is well suited to candidates with experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, manufacturing, sourcing, or supply chain environments, who are looking to broaden their impact across a complex and highly regulated supply chain while gaining people-management experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
