As we continue to expand our activities across the UK, we are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our M Renewables Division in our London office and support the contractual and commercial administration of our renewable energy projects across the market.
Responsibilities
The role will play an important part in ensuring that contractual requirements are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the preparation, review and administration of contracts, subcontracts, change orders and related contractual documentation.
Your role will encompass:
- Preparing, reviewing and administering contracts, subcontracts, change orders and contractual correspondence in accordance with company policies, project requirements and applicable legal standards.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Estimating, Procurement and Legal teams to ensure contractual obligations, rights and responsibilities are clearly understood and effectively managed.
- Monitoring and tracking contract milestones, deliverables, notices, approvals and key deadlines, ensuring timely action and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract registers, documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting the administration of variations, amendments, extensions of time, claims and other contractual matters.
- Assisting with claims and dispute resolution, coordinating relevant documentation, information and stakeholder inputs where required.
- Monitoring compliance with contractual requirements relating to insurance, licensing, bonding and other project-specific obligations.
- Supporting the tender and bid process through the review of tender and contract documentation and assisting with contractual and commercial risk assessments.
- Reviewing terms and conditions and providing practical guidance to internal stakeholders, escalating key contractual risks and issues where appropriate.
- Supporting the identification, assessment and management of contractual and commercial risks across projects.
- Working closely with project and commercial teams to ensure contractual requirements are appropriately reflected in project planning and delivery.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that contractual actions, deliverables and obligations are followed through effectively.
- Maintaining a structured and proactive approach across multiple projects, contracts, stakeholders and competing priorities.

Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in contract administration, contract management, commercial administration or a closely related discipline, preferably within the construction, infrastructure or renewable energy sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Law or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts, contractual documentation and project delivery methods.
- Proven experience working with FIDIC contracts.
- Familiarity with renewable energy and solar project contracts, including PPA (Power Purchase Agreements), EPC agreements and interconnection agreements, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of contractual and commercial risk, with the ability to identify key issues and support appropriate mitigation.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across project, commercial, legal and technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to contractual documentation, reporting and record keeping.
- Ability to work proactively and independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with contract management or project management software is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience working on UK projects or within the UK construction/infrastructure market is considered an advantage.
- A strong interest in working within the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sector.
