Role: Agile Delivery Manager (Energy)

Project: Strategic delivery & agile transformation
Industry: Energy
Location: London, hybrid (3 days per week)
Contract: 6 month initial (multi-year scope)
Rate: £800/d inside IR35

X4 Technology are partnered with a leading energy organisation on a high-profile strategic transformation programme, offering an experienced Agile Delivery Manager the opportunity to play a key role in shaping organisational agility and delivery effectiveness.

The role is circa 70/30% split between coaching and delivery, giving you the opportunity to influence Agile maturity at leadership level while still owning tangible delivery outcomes.

You'll coach leaders, Product Owners and delivery teams, improve ways of working and help create high-performing delivery environments, while also providing the structure, governance and project leadership needed to deliver complex strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Agile Delivery Manager (Energy)

  • Embed Lean-Agile practices across leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and delivery teams
  • Drive planning, prioritisation, retrospectives and cross-team delivery to maximise business value
  • Identify and remove delivery blockers, managing dependencies, risks, scope, budget and timelines
  • Lead with influence, partnering with senior product, engineering, architecture and business stakeholders
  • Build Agile capability through mentoring, facilitation and continuous improvement

Requirements for the Agile Delivery Manager (Energy)

  • Proven Agile Coach, Delivery Lead or Project Manager experience within complex delivery environments
  • Strong Lean-Agile expertise, with hands-on coaching across leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and delivery teams
  • Solid project delivery skills across scoping, budgeting, planning, tracking, risk and governance
  • Confident senior stakeholder manager with strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills
  • Track record of improving Agile maturity, delivery performance, business adoption and team effectiveness
