Position Summary
- Drafts, executes, reviews, and analyzes contracts for various clients (i.e. self-funded, fully-insured, public and labor) of a benefits administration company in accordance with company standards while meeting and exceeding accessibility, compliance, quality, and cost initiatives.
- Verifies contract compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Follows established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Contract function under general supervision.
- Assists with negotiating contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement with other parties "to successfully enhance the company's competitive advantage in the industry.
- Collects documents requested by government departments in order to compile information for government audits.
- Performs contract certification for consultants and health litigation lawyers.
- Handles contracts to support subrogation efforts in dollar recovery while certifying subrogation language for consultants.
- Communicates with internal and external business partners to ensure cross-functional alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develops effective relationships with all team members to ensure daily communication to resolve issues and prevent delays in service.
- Observes contract team performance including metrics and training to ensure compliance with the company's regulatory, safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols and standards.
- Ensures a high level of customer service, responding promptly, and following established claims protocols and guidelines when interacting with our internal business partners.

Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in healthcare document drafting.
- 1-2 years contract drafting experience
- Experience working with Microsoft office
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Critical thinking skills
Education
- High School Diploma or GED

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $31.30 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
