Business Analyst - Target Operating Model (TOM)

Wealth Proposition | 6 month Contract | Outside IR35 | Market rate | Hybrid Working

Investec is progressing a significant growth agenda within its UK Private Client franchise to deliver our ambition to scale a high-touch, advice-led proposition that combines private banking, wealth capabilities, digital access and the wider One Investec ecosystem. As part of this, the business is developing a broader UK Wealth proposition that will require robust, client-centred operational foundations across onboarding, servicing, fulfilment, controls and governance.

This requires a Business Analyst with strong Target Operating Model experience to help define how the proposition will work across teams, governance, service ownership, controls and cross-functional interfaces. The programme has reached a point where decisions on proposition, operating model design and platform and operations planning need to be joined up into a coherent build plan.

This role is ideal for a contractor who enjoys turning strategic ambition into practical operating model artefacts. You will help establish the structures, accountabilities and governance required to support a new wealth proposition within an established financial services organisation, working as part of a focused central squad with sponsor-visible deliverables.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
