Contract Change Specialist

As a Contract Change Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping and managing change across the Selborne contract. Working closely with The Royal Navy, delivery partners, and suppliers, you'll help ensure changes are implemented smoothly, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.

This is a highly visible role where you'll build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, coordinate complex change activities, and help drive continuous improvement across the programme.

This role may suit someone who is currently in a project support/coordinator role and looking to take the next step.

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week
  • Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week in HMS Collingwood, HMS Sultan, or HMS Excellent
  • Contract: Fixed term contract opportunity until Sept 2027
  • Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and coordinate contract change requests across the Selborne programme.
  • Support the Contract Change Manager in delivering changes effectively and on time.
  • Maintain accurate change documentation, records, and tracking logs.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and management information to support decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts and technical teams to develop effective change solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for contract changes, ensuring agreed outcomes and benefits are delivered.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, clients, and superiors at all levels and in all areas of management.
  • Good experience of using Microsoft tools (SharePoint, MS Project, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Project and Risk Analysis experience.
  • Consolidated experience in the provision, analysis, and presentation of relevant business information.

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Previous experience of Project Management either Prince2 Practitioner or APMP qualified would be an advantage.
