Clinical SAS Programmer – Contract

Location: USA – Remote
Contract Length: 6 Months
Hours: Full-Time
Start: ASAP / approximately 2 weeks following offer

AL Solutions is supporting one of our key clients with the appointment of an experienced Clinical SAS Programmer / Statistical Programmer for an initial 6-month contract. This position will suit an experienced programmer who is comfortable working independently and can take ownership of statistical programming deliverables from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and validate analysis datasets
  • Produce Tables, Listings and Figures (TLFs)
  • Program outputs in accordance with Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
  • Work with established in-house SAS macros
  • Support the development and QC of statistical programming deliverables
  • Troubleshoot programming issues and ensure outputs meet quality and timeline expectations
  • Collaborate with statistics and wider cross-functional teams as required

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on SAS programming experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO environment
  • Demonstrable experience producing analysis datasets and TLFs
  • Strong understanding of working from SAPs
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Good knowledge of clinical data and statistical programming processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience with CDISC standards
  • Experience writing CDISC dataset specifications
  • SDTM / ADaM experience

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team on a fully remote basis and support an important programme with an immediate requirement for additional statistical programming capacity.
