Media Strategy & Planning Director

3-Month FTC | £75,000-£85,000 Pro Rata | UK Remote (Occasional Travel to London)

We're partnering with a leading global digital marketing agency to find an experienced Media Strategy & Planning Director to support a portfolio of high-profile client accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic media leader who can hit the ground running, developing integrated media strategies and working closely with both clients and channel specialists to deliver commercially driven plans.

The role is open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, with remote working available and occasional travel to the London office for key meetings.

The Role

You'll lead media strategy across two key client accounts, translating business objectives into integrated media plans and working collaboratively with specialist teams to bring those strategies to life.

This is a hands-on strategic role, so we're looking for someone who is equally comfortable presenting to senior clients as they are working alongside activation teams to shape recommendations and identify opportunities for growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
