I’m working with a leading retailer looking for an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager or Senior Ecommerce Trading Executive to join their digital team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract running until mid-December.
This is a genuinely hands-on ecommerce trading role with responsibility for the day-to-day commercial performance of the website.
They are looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the platform, making changes, identifying trading opportunities and ensuring the website is fully optimised across product, content, promotions and customer journey.
Hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is essential.

- Running regular trading reports, analysing performance and making actionable recommendations
- Working with PIM systems to ensure product data flows accurately into the ecommerce platform
- Supporting multiple product areas / brands on-site and ensuring each has a clear, commercially optimised customer journey

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
