ARDATEM, founded in 1987 and subsidiary of Gérard Perrier Industrie Group, is a nuclear engineering company operating across the full plant lifecycle from design and studies through to operation, maintenance and decommissioning. Active across nuclear and research facilities in France, ARDATEM UK was established in 2025 to bring this expertise directly to the UK nuclear market delivering specialist engineering in Control & Instrumentation, safety, and electrical systems across the UK new build and operating fleet programmes.
Role Overview
As part of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear project, you will join the Configuration Management team within Edvance/EPRe's Technical Direction. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical configuration activities, ensuring efficient implementation of the Design Change Process and contributing directly to the project's engineering performance.

Contract Engineering Lead - Sizewell C Nuclear Project
We are looking for an experienced Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) to manage the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) contract for the Sizewell C nuclear project.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Lead technical and project meetings with the client, suppliers and engineering teams.
- Monitor the technical progress of the EDG contract.
- Coordinate the Technical Leads and prioritise their activities.
- Follow up design, manufacturing and qualification activities.
- Review and approve technical documents and supplier deliverables.
- Manage technical issues, queries, design changes and contract amendments.
- Ensure the Hinkley Point C (HPC) design is correctly replicated for Sizewell C, taking into account relevant operating experience.
- Monitor risks, costs, schedule, quality and KPIs.
- Ensure good coordination between EDF EPR Engineering UK, Edvance France, the client and suppliers.
- Support and mentor other engineers and CELs.

What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science.
- Experience in nuclear engineering, ideally with EPR or PWR projects.
- Experience with mechanical equipment design, manufacturing and operation.
- Technical experience with diesel generators, backup power systems, or other complex mechanical/electrical systems.
- Strong experience in technical and contract management.
- Good understanding of equipment interfaces and systems engineering.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with tools such as CEMAR, Teamcenter, UKDC, UKICM or OPM is a plus.
Languages
- Fluent English required
- French is a plus
