Role: Contract Finance Business Partner (Multiple headcounts available)

Length: Initial 3 Months (Likely Extension)

Location: London (Hybrid; 2 to 3 days per week onsite)

Day Rates: £500 to £700 per day (Inside IR35)

We are partnering with a leading global enterprise software and technology solutions provider seeking multiple Commercial Finance Business Partners to support their major business divisions through ongoing transformation and scalable delivery. Operating within a matrix structure, these interim roles partner closely with senior non-finance leadership and central FP&A to provide constructive commercial challenge, financial visibility, and strategic decision support.

Available Roles

  • Finance Business Partner - Customer & Services (£500-£600/day): Focuses on service delivery models, operational headcount, resource planning, customer-facing efficiency programmes, and commercial risk analysis.
  • Finance Business Partner - Product & Technology (£550-£700/day): Focuses on software roadmap planning, cloud and infrastructure costs, product development spend, technology vendor management, and business case governance for technical initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with senior operational leaders to deliver actionable financial insight, cost-benefit analysis, and constructive commercial challenge.
  • Support strategic transformation programmes, including business case modelling, benefit tracking, and scenario analysis.
  • Own budgeting, rolling forecasting, and monthly performance reporting, clearly articulating key cost drivers, risks, and upside opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial data into concise, strategic narratives for senior executive stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance business partnering processes, reporting frameworks, and commercial controls.

Key Requirements

  • Qualification: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive commercial finance business partnering background.
  • Scale & Matrix Complexity: Proven experience working in large-scale enterprise environments navigating complex matrix structures.
  • Sector Experience: Background in enterprise software, SaaS, digital, or technology-enabled services is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability; exceptional stakeholder management and executive challenge; ability to deliver at pace through ambiguity.
