RMG Digital Contract Full Stack Developer Opportunity
RMG Digital are looking for an experienced Contract Full Stack Developer on behalf of an innovative client based in the United Kingdom. In this full-time, fully remote contract position, you will take direct ownership of end-to-end features, bridging responsive user interfaces with powerful backend systems and cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities. This UK-based engagement offers the opportunity to help engineer an AI-centric product where your architectural contributions have an immediate, tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend applications, backend services, and external integrations.
- Integrate third-party Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, orchestrating prompt handling, structured outputs, and model responses reliably.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs alongside SQL or NoSQL database architectures to support AI-driven features.
- Develop intuitive, highly responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
- Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to transform product concepts into secure, scalable, and production-ready code.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive commercial experience in full-stack software development across both frontend and backend layers.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, specifically JavaScript or TypeScript with React.
- Deep backend development experience using Node.js, Python, or comparable environments for data processing and API design.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party AI/LLM APIs (such as the OpenAI API or Anthropic API) and managing structured AI workflows.
- Demonstrated capability in database architecture, data persistence, and API integration using SQL or NoSQL systems.
- Based in the United Kingdom with full existing right to work (visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling, automated testing, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
- Experience refining prompt orchestration pipelines and complex data-handling systems around generative AI outputs.
