An established IT consultancy is looking to engage an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 3-month contract, supporting BAU infrastructure services with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The role will suit an engineer who is comfortable operating in a client-facing IT services environment, balancing day-to-day support with hands-on infrastructure administration and troubleshooting across hybrid Microsoft environments.

- Microsoft 365 & Microsoft E5
- Exchange Online / Hybrid Exchange
- Active Directory (AD)
- Microsoft Entra ID
- User, identity and access management
- Microsoft 365 security and compliance tooling
- Hybrid infrastructure and associated integrations
- General BAU infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Requirements
The consultancy is looking for someone with:
- Strong hands-on experience across M365, Exchange, AD, and Entra ID
- Good knowledge of the wider Microsoft E5 suite
- Previous experience working within an IT services, MSP, or consulting environment is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with clients and internal teams
- A proactive approach to BAU support and service delivery
- The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
Rate: Β£250/day Outside IR35
Location: Fully remote
Contract: Initial 3 months + chance for extension
