About Howdens

At Howdens, we are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to oversee kitchen installations across Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a site-based professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, building strong relationships, and ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Whether you're currently an Installation Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Fit-Out Manager, or Supervisor, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Installation Manager, you'll be the key link between our customers, site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring every installation runs smoothly from pre-start through to completion.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple live installation projects across Wales
  • Leading and coordinating Howdens-approved fitting teams and subcontractors on site
  • Conducting pre-start meetings and ensuring projects are set up for success from day one
  • Ensuring all installations meet Howdens' high standards of quality, safety, and customer service
  • Building strong working relationships with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Managers, and depot teams
  • Monitoring progress on site, resolving issues quickly, and keeping projects on track
  • Supporting the National Contracts Installation Manager with the successful delivery of installations across the region
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all sites

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak to individuals with experience managing installations or construction projects within sectors such as kitchens, fit-out, interiors, construction, housebuilding, commercial projects, or specialist subcontracting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
