CONTRACT IT FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST – IMMEDIATE START
Chippenham – 3 days on-site / 2 days remote
£450 per day

I’m currently working with a leading organisation looking for an experienced IT Functional Business Systems Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand requirements, improve processes and deliver effective technology solutions.
The Role
You will act as the key link between business functions and IT, translating business needs into clear functional requirements and supporting the delivery of technology-led change.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
- Gathering, documenting and analysing business and functional requirements
- Translating business requirements into clear functional specifications
- Working with IT and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Supporting systems implementation, enhancements and continuous improvement
- Mapping and reviewing business processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and system functionality
- Supporting testing, UAT and implementation activities
- Managing stakeholder relationships across business and IT functions
- Providing analysis and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Functional Business Systems Analyst with a strong understanding of both business processes and IT systems.
You should have:
- Proven experience working as a Business Systems Analyst / Functional Analyst
- Strong business and functional requirements-gathering experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting system change, implementation or improvement projects
- The ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach

Contract Details
- Location: Chippenham
- Working pattern: 3 days on-site / 2 days from home
- Rate: £450 per day
- Start: Immediate
