Business Development Manager
We are seeking a commercially driven, tenacious Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and drive profitable growth for our Contract Logistics and Final Mile Delivery Services.
Role Focus
The role focus is to expand our customer base targeting new logos in adjacent / compatible sectors beyond our core in fashion retail, e-commerce, bringing value by maximizing our existing infrastructure and end-to-end logistics services offerings. The successful candidate will have a deep and broad Logistics Industry knowledge; be able to demonstrate a track record of working cross functionally with teams including Operations, Solutions Design, Implementation, Finance, IT, and HR to develop and deliver tailored, high-value customer solutions. Success in this role will contribute to long-term growth, including enabling future investment in facilities and capabilities.
Duties
- Develop and execute Contract Logistics and Final Mile Delivery business development strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets and expand market share
- Identify, target, and convert new customers, building a strong and sustainable Contract Logistics and Final Mile Delivery sales pipeline
- Provide the required customer insight and knowledge to support the design and presentation of tailored logistics solutions
- Manage the process for commercial negotiations, including pricing and contract terms, ensuring attractive customer proposition with profitable outcomes for Noatum
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective solution design and successful implementation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify opportunities
- Represent Noatum Logistics at industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
- Maintain accurate pipeline and performance reporting using CRM tools

Skills and Experience Required
Commercial & Technical Skills:
- Proven success in business development within contract logistics and supply chain solutions
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Deep and broad Logistics Industry knowledge focused on the UK Contract Logistics market
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and financial understanding (EBITDA focus)
- Ability to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions
- Good understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain technologies

- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
